Summer Projects

The IT Services department was busy this summer updating and making improvements to our campus infrastructure. Here are a few of the highlights.

  • The residents of Flippen-Perrin and Francis Crawford will see a big improvement to the WiFi network with the addition of 90+ new access points.
  • A new printing solution for students called PaperCut will allow them to print from any device to designated printers that are located in residence hall lobbies, computer labs, and the library.
  • Computer labs using Adobe software were updated with the newest version of Adobe.
  • 21 faculty and staff received a new computer thus far this year in the computer reallocation distribution.
  • The Blackmon lab, located in Hickingbotham 106, received a makeover with 26 new computers.
