Twelve-month exempt employees and faculty with nine-month teaching responsibilities are paid one-twelfth of their annual salary at the end of each month.  The appointment period for twelve-month employees varies based on the individual’s employment.  The schedule below defines the employment period for each class of exempt employee:

  • New faculty hired in 2009 or after – August 1 to July 31
  • Faculty hired prior to 2009 – September 1 to August 31
  • Exempt administrators – June 1 to May 31
  • Coaches:

Adjunct faculty members are generally paid on a semester by semester basis.  Compensation for the fall semester is paid in four installments beginning with the September payroll and ending in December.  Spring adjunct pay is also divided evenly over four months, beginning in January and ending in April.

Compensation for all non-exempt employees is issued on a monthly basis.
